Tomahawk will be under construction this season. The bridge over the Wisconsin River in the center of Tomahawk will be removed and replaced, therefore separating our town into two parts. To avoid delays as much as possible from October 1, 2010 through summer of 2011, we suggest the following routes:

Directions from South (Wausau or Green Bay)

If coming from Green Bay, take Hwy 29W to Wausau, then merge onto Hwy 51/I-39 N. From Wausau, take Hwy 51/I-39 N to County Hwy A (Exit 231). Turn left (west) and follow Hwy A 1½ miles. At the T-intersection, turn left and proceed 1 mile. STF/SLS will be on your left just after Ace Hardware and across from Subway. There is a large green Steigerwaldt sign in front of the building and plenty of semi-trailer room in the back of the building.

Directions from North (Minocqua)

Take Hwy 51 South to County Hwy. A (Exit 231). Turn right and follow Hwy A 1½ miles. At the T-intersection, turn left and proceed 1 mile. STF/SLS will be on your left just after Ace Hardware and across from Subway. There is a large green Steigerwaldt sign in front of the building and plenty of semi-trailer room in the back of the building.

Directions from East (Rhinelander)

Take Hwy 8 West past the Hwy 51 exit to County Hwy A (Exit 231). Turn left and follow Hwy A south 3.5 miles. STF/SLS will be on your left just after Ace Hardware and across from Subway. There is a large green Steigerwaldt sign in front of the building and plenty of semi-trailer room in the back of the building.

Directions from West (Ladysmith)

Take Hwy 8 East through Prentice to County Hwy A. Turn right and follow Hwy A south 3.5 miles. STF/SLS will be on your left just after Ace Hardware and across from Subway. There is a large green Steigerwaldt sign in front of the building and plenty of semi-trailer room in the back of the building.
